These are brilliant, just brilliant! A classic whiskey cocktail with the addition of goldschlager - a cinnamon-flavoured schnapps with gold flakes, fresh ginger and vanilla syrup.

(One measure is equivalent to 25 ml or 1½ tbsp.)

Ingredients:

2 measures bourbon
goldschlagger
½ measure vanilla syrup
1 measure fresh lemon juice
1 tsp of grated fresh root ginger
ice to serve
decorate with lemon wedge
cinnamon stick to stir

Method
1. In a cocktail shaker combine the bourbon, goldschlagger, vanilla and ginger.
2. Top up with the lemon juice and shake in the shaker with a handful of ice.
3. Serve into a tall whisky glass. Decorate with a lemon wedge. Place a cinamon stick in to stir, use the same stick for refills.

Goldschlager looks like this, adds a wonderful flavour and gold flecks to the drink

mmmm, not sure on this one cookie, I reckon you need to like whisky to like this one, but the tip about the goldschlager with the gold flakes will come in handy for some other cocktails that will be enhanced by the cinnamon flavour and the gold flecks, thanks
